1st GARUDA BALI INTERNATIONAL MARATHON9th of Nopember 2008
This month a big event on sport haven against, the event is ‘1st Garuda Bali International Marathon’ being organized in corporation with Indonesia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture & Tourism, Bali Provincial Government, Bali Tourism Board, KONI, Bali Sports Committee and Garuda Indonesia as its official event presentor.
The event would like to bring back the lost icon of Bali, put together all the efforts to reclaim the titular tittle of ‘the island Paradise of the orient’ focusing on the potential of sports tourism that resulted in the upsurge of tourist visitors and through this event, unity and solidarity among marathon enthusiasts can be achieved going is a good will and friendship among international friends.
The marathon event is scheduled on 9th of November 2008, time: 06.00 am, at Nusa Dua – Bali, offers half Marathon (21.0975 km), 10 K and 5 K with several categories.
